Fern was bred by Maggie & Jerry Stephens (Brightmeadow), she has been an excellent addition to the kennel bringing in a natural working ability and eagerness to please. Fern made breed history at KC Open Obedience (all breed) Competition by winning Beginners Obedience class and being awarded a Beginners Obedience Excellent Qualification. The first ever curly bitch to do this and only the second curly ever to win an all-breed obedience class (The first was Spike -An Edwin son & Fern is a Great-Great Grandaughter of Edwin - who started me out in obedience) Fern started Obedience in 2014 and has been unbeaten in all her classes so far! She has been Best Obedience 2 years running in the CCRC Club Obedience. Fern also competed for the first time ever at the CCRC fun Working Test where she WON 'Have A Go' Class. Fern is really enjoying her gundog training and I am looking forward to continuing with this.

To end a fantastic year in obedience and gundog training Fern was also warded the Bitch CC at LKA Ch Show under breed specialist Adrian Knight in December 2017
